Nikolai Zykov - Russian actor, director, artist, designer, puppet-maker, master of puppetry. Nikolai Zykov is an author of over 20 puppet performances. He has created and has made over 80 puppet vignettes with participation of marionettes, hand, rod, giant, radio-controlled puppets and experimental puppets of unusual construction.
Nikolai Zykov has received the diplomas of several competitions and festivals in Russia and abroad. Also, he has received the Gold Medal of the International Festival in Germany.
Puppets of Nikolay Zykov took part in many popular TV shows in Russia and abroad. Culture TV Channel calls Nikolai Zykov "the most titled puppeteer of Russia".
Nikolai Zykov Theatre has performed in 35 countries around the world: in many cities of Russia and also in Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, USA, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, South Africa, Mauritius, Seychelles, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, China, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
