March 3, Moscow, Russia - "The Magic World of Marionettes", Moskvich Concert Hall.

March 30, Moscow, Russia - "The Magic World of Marionettes", Baku Concert Hall. First presentation  - Man of the  XXI century - electric wire and 100 lamps. Nikolai Zykov created, designed and built a new experimental marionette. Electric lamps are shaped in the form of a human body. The vignette is accompanied by modern trance-house music.

May 7, Moscow, Russia - "The Magic World of Marionettes", Moscow State Academic Chamber Music Theatre. First presentation  - Mister twister. Irokese hear, tropical shorts, futurist shoes and ... Chubby Checker's unforgettable music.  He invites to dance the twist. And really does it.

November 9, Moscow, Russia - "The Magic World of Marionettes", Krasny Oktyabr Concert Hall. First presentation of new giant puppet Lightman . It is assembled on the stage of 14 separate self-glowing objects. The puppet is 3 m (10 ft) tall. Materials: metal wire, fiber plastic, rice paper, glow sticks.

November 14, Moscow, Russia - first presentation of new puppet  parody The Phantom of the Opera took place in the Concert Hall of Moscow Aviation University. Two unique marionettes are transforming during the vignette. Singer became a monster, the Phantom became a rabbit.

November 14, Moscow, Russia - participation in concert in Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.

November 15, Moscow, Russia - participation in TV show "Krivoe Zerkalo"  in Olympic Village  Concert Hall with  Twister, The Phantom of the Opera and New Year.

November 30, Moscow, Russia - "Dinosaur and His Company", Baku Concert Hall. First presentation of new experimental construction Microcosmos . It gives you a opportunity to be a researcher of the micro world. The unique construction provides the chaotic flight of 8 self-glowing objects above the  spectators.

2003

Four the two-acts performances of Nikolai Zykov were presented on one stage during four days (February 28, March 1, 8, 9) in the Moscow State Academic Chamber Music Theatre. During four days  50 puppet vignettes with participation of 79 puppets of Nikolai Zykov were presented.

Now marionettes are not only moving on the stage, but also fly above the spectators heads.  The metal wire, fiber plastic and glow sticks are the materials of the newest vignette HISTOIRE D'AMOUR. First presentation - March 2, Concert Hall "Moskvich", Moscow. 

September 24,participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show in the XIII World Festival at Puppet Theatres in Charleville-Mezieres (France). Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show was the only group from Russia at this Festival. Nikolai Zykov presented the special program of innovational puppets "Marionettissement": original transforming marionettes, flying marionettes, glowing marionettes, the radio-controlled SPIDER and the glowing giant puppet LIGHTMAN. 

300 electric lamps and special iron constriction, which is several thousands years old. The unique construction gives the possibility to realize the most unusual METAMORPHOSES. First presentation - December 14, Concert Hall "Baku", Moscow.

The 3-meters-long CATERPILLAR moves on the stage, opens its mouth and sings a French song. This is the third radio-controlled puppet of Nikolai Zykov. First presentation - December 14,  Concert Hall "Baku", Moscow. 

2004

January 8, presentations of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show in the Moscow Kremlin Armory. A special New Year show with the participation of Lightman was presented.

June 24, the first historical filming of Martian in TV show "Smehopanorama" of Evgeny Petrosyan (First canal of Russian television). Martian - funny puppet vignette performed by unique radio-controlled 6-engeens device. 

The best Nikolai Zykov Puppets were presented in the central square of Murmansk (Russia) on June 17. Murmansk is situated behind the polar circle in the north of Kolsk peninsula not far from Norway. In June The sun in Murmansk shines 24 hours a day. 

Presentation of new vignette took place at October 23, on the stage of "Vladivostok" Concert Hall in Moscow. Using new materials and technologies Nikolai Zykov made 10 meters long puppet, controlled by one puppeteer. Giant snake can't to do nothing better, than to eat a puppeteer.

2005

Famous Dinosaur of Nikolai Zykov was made 25 years ago in 1980. First presentation took place on the stage of Moscow Aviation University and at the same year Dinosaur took part in cultural program of XXII World Olympic Games in Moscow. Dinosaur took part in many TV shows in Russia and abroad and in 1984 took the Gold medal of international festival in Germany. Dinosaur successfully performed on the stage of Moscow Kremlin Armory, RUSSIA State Concert Hall, Moscow State Academic Chamber Music Theatre, Theatre Municipal of Charleville-Mezieres (France), Millennium Theatre of New York and on many other stages in Russia and all over the world.

Presentation of new vignette took place at February 17, on the stage of Moscow International University of Development. New Dragonfly is only 16 cm long.

On the stage of Riga's Dom Kongressov Concert Hall took place fantastic puppet show for children and adults "Dinosaur and his Company". The show performed by famous Moscow puppeteer Nikolai Zykov." December 26, participation of Nikolai Zykov in gand Christmas show in Tallinn (Estonia).  Funny company, Microcosms, Metamorphoses, Giant, Dinosaur and other puppets of Nikolai Zykov were performed on the stage of Tallinna Linnahall - a concert hall of 4000 spectators. 

  2006

At January 24 Nikolai Zykov took part in the Morning radio show of famous Russian DJs Bachinskiy and Stillavin. Gennadiy Bachinskiy call Nikolai Zykov "a real monster of puppetry, Karabas-Barabas of our time". The interactive voting call Nikolai Zykov "an interesting person" and put him on the virtual "Desk of honor" of Radio "Maximum".

Nikolai Zykov - unique-exclusive Russian puppeteer - is one of them" - Sergey Maiorov, March 24,"Stories in details", STS TV (Russia). "Stories in details" is a cycle of TV stories about the most famous Russian and foreign performers.

"Nikolai Zykov puts a strange constrictions on the stage and assembles a huge puppet in front of the spectators. The puppet comes alive and even sings something"- said Evgeniy Petrosyan in his TV show "Smehopanorama" on RTR TV (Russia) on April 30. Evgeniy Petrosyan is a famous Russian variety performer, historian and critic. 

Participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre on July 27-30 in Festival International de Titeres y Teatro AL SUR DEL SUR was an important event in cultural life of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Exclusive program of Nikolai Zykov was a great success on the stages of Teatro El Galpon de Catalinas, Teatro Sosiedad Luz and Teatro Jose Verdi in historical district La Boca. 

September 14-16,Cape Town, South Africa. The International Union of Puppetry South Africa (UNIMA SA) organized a second Out The Box, Festival of Puppets, Masks and Visual Performance. The main festival was three days long and hosted provocative and influential visual performing artists and educators. "All the way from Russia, Out the Box brings you Exclusive a flashy and upbeat marionette variety show by manipulator extraordinaire Nikolai Zykov."

November 10-13, World Performing Arts Festival, Lahore, Pakistan. "Nikolai Zykov has a variety of technical surprises that make his shows a success. His puppets live independently from their creator. Nikolai often vanishes in the black background and you forget his presence while he pulling five strings at once to make the puppet speak while it is dancing on the stage. Nikolai Zykov is making the step of technical development into the future" Jakob Steiner,  World Performing Arts Festival, Lahore, Pakistan.

2007

March 19.  Participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show in celebration of International Day of Puppetry. The concert took place in the Big Hall of Masters of Arts Central House in Moscow.

March 25. Presentation of new edition of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show "Giant and others" in Krasny Oktyabr Concert Hall in Moscow.

April 4. Central Asia Tour of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre. Performance "Exclusive Marionettes" of Nikolai Zykov  was shown in Samarkand, Uzbekistan in Children Centre "Mehribonlic".

April 5. Central Asia Tour of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre. Performance "Exclusive Marionettes" of Nikolai Zykov  was shown in Pendjikent, Tajikistan in Geologov Concert Hall.

November 11. First presentation of new Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show "Workshop of Miracles" in Krasny Oktyabr Concert Hall in Moscow. New experimental works and new edition of famous Nikolai Zykov puppet vignettes were shown in two hours performance.

December 1.  Participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Show in Closing Gala Concert of International Documentary Cinema Festival "Freski Severa" in ancient north Russian city Vologda.

December 11. Participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre in 10-th Student Puppet Theatre Festival in Tehran, Iran. Performance "Exclusive Marionettes" of Nikolai Zykov was shown in Tehran University of Arts.

2008

January 3. 7-th annual New Year puppet performance of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre in Armory museum of Moscow Kremlin.

February 6. Kazakhstan, Astana. Participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre in celebration of Chinese New Year.

March 23. Two hours Puppet benefice show "Dinosaur welcomes his friends" in Krasny Oktyabr Concert Hall in Moscow. The best puppet vignettes of Nikolai Zykov for 30 years were shown.

May 30-31,   "Giant and others". Participation of Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre in celebration of 55-th anniversary of Kovdor City, Russia. Kovdor situated in Kola peninsula behind the Polar Circle near the Finland border.

June 23. Article "Theatre in the suitcase" about Nikolai Zykov Puppet Theatre in one of the leading Russian economic weekly magazine "Dengi".

July 18.  Report about Nikolai Zykov and his puppets in RBC TV - Russian Business Consulting Television - main Russian Business TV Canal.
